MY Approach

Coaching is a method for facilitating purposeful positive change. It is a disciplined ‘time-out’ from an individual’s work that gives them the chance to ‘get on the balcony’, reflect on their goals, create meaning and purpose, and commit to action. I work in a collaborative, goal orientated and pragmatic manner to help an individual with a genuine intent to change to understand their desired direction, manage their energy and set clear attainable goals that will work for them, in their context. I also drive accountability within this supportive environment, because while the coach plays the role of facilitator of change, it is the coachee’s responsibility to enact that change.

My coaching methods are focused on awareness creation and achieving success through lasting behaviour change. Through questioning, reframing and offering best practice insights from my experience of working with hundreds of clients, I ensure that an individual’s reflections aren’t confined by their own belief systems & self-limiting thoughts. My coaching approach is founded on the notion that, “First you shape your habits, and then your habits shape you”. Through heightened self-awareness, experimentation with new ways of thinking and behaving, and reflection on the outcomes, I help the coachee apply themselves with more wisdom, insight and balance that will mutually benefit their work, their home life, their community and themselves. In this way they will secure their long-term satisfaction and success.

I will tailor a bespoke response to the needs presented, delivered through 1:1 coaching (whether short term or ongoing) to help an individual being their best everyday with more joy.
